Jeanette Doughty

Jeanette Underhill Doughty, 90, a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, at Shore Life Care in Parksley, VA. Born on October 11, 1929 to the late J. Broddus and Ella Churn Underhill, she was a member of Cheriton Baptist Church and worked for many years at Jones’ Department Store in Cape Charles, VA.

Jeanette is survived by two daughters, Joan Fish and her husband, Russell, of Chincoteague Island, VA and Linda Jones and her husband, Marc, of Cheriton; three granddaughters, Stephanie Montross and her husband, Chris, Shannon Dunham and her husband, Garrett, and Kimberly Jones; five great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Rykert, Isabella, E.J., and Victoria.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cheriton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 227, Cheriton, VA 23316.
