Jayce Lennox Strand, 13 months, a resident of Keller, VA, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at The Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA. He was the son of Jamel Deonta Strand and April Lynn Stevens, both of Keller.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Vickie Jones of Melfa, VA and Michael Stevens of Mears, VA; two brothers, D. L. Parkerson and Nyzir Dix, both of Keller; numerous aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Preston Lee Strand and Deborah Gray Strand.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Larriane White officiating. Interment will follow in Wachapreague Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, VA 23501.
