James Edward Zabita

James Edward Zabita, 70, husband of the late Roberta White Zabita and a resident of Oyster, VA, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA. A native of Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Michael Joseph Zabita and the late Dorothy Charlotte Matuza Zabita. He was a retired Commercial Builder.

He is survived by his loving companion, Judith Illmensee of Oyster; and two brothers, Robert W. Zabita of Cherrystone, VA, and Michael J. Zabita, Jr. of Hershey, PA.

To honor his wishes services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cape Charles Rescue Service, P.O. Box 3009, Cheriton, Virginia 23316 or SPCA Eastern Shore, Inc., P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
