James Pierre Walsh, Jr.

James Pierre Walsh, Jr., better known as Pete, 69, husband of the late Janice Masura Walsh and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. A native of Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Dr. James Pierre Walsh and the late Margaret Ann Price Walsh. He was a retired senior sales manager with 30 years of service for DuPont, member of Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club and avid supporter of Wounded Warriors.

He is survived by a son, James P. Walsh III and his wife, Michelle, of Elko, MN; a daughter, Melissa Walsh Masterson and her husband, Richard, of Wheaton, IL; three sisters, Pamela Basara and her husband, Ronald, of Newark, DE, Audrey Coburn and her husband, Douglas, of Eastville, VA, and Karen Parker and her husband, James, of Onley, VA; a brother, Mark Walsh of Massachusetts; and four grandchildren, Braden Walsh, Cooper Walsh, Joseph Masterson, and Alexandria Masterson. He was predeceased by three brothers, William Walsh, Edward "Ned" Walsh and Kevin Walsh and a sister, Elizabeth Martin.

A service to celebrate Pete's life will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or BARCS, 301 Stockholm Street, Baltimore, MD 21230.
