James Henry Taylor

James Henry Taylor, 81, husband of Iris Guy Taylor and the late Daisey Mae Taylor, a resident of Melfa, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Taylor a native of Mappsburg, Virginia, was the son of the late Custis S. Taylor and the late Minnie Hopkins Taylor. He was a member of Exmore Baptist Church, Past Master and member of Central Masonic Lodge #300 AF&AM, and Mildred Stephenson Chapter #117 Order of Eastern Star. Mr. Taylor is survived by three chrildren, James Custis Taylor and his wife Phyllis of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Richard Thomas Taylor of Melfa, Va., Darlene Mae Taylor of Melfa, Va.; one sister, Lucy T. Mears of Belle Haven, Va., five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, April 18, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Onancock Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The Rev. Jack D. Pruitt will officiate.
