James Melvin Seymour, 71, husband of Patti Ann Seymour and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Big Stone Gap, VA, he was the son of the late Lloyd Seymour and the late Orpha Penson Seymour. He was a communications specialist, owner of Seycom Service Co., co-owner of Delmarva Communications, member and Past Governor of Exmore Moose Lodge #683. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Janet S. Amendola and her husband, Brett, of Leesburg, VA, Tracey L. Stewart and her husband, Ryan, of Centreville, VA; six grandchildren, Alexa Amendola, Addison Amendola, Maddox Amendola, Chase Amendola, all of Leesburg and Ben Stewart and Anna Stewart, both of Centreville. A family and friends gathering will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Exmore Moose Lodge #683, 15315 Merry Cat Lane, Belle Haven, Virginia.
