James Rank

James William Rank, 83, husband of Lois Patterson Rank and a resident of Willis Wharf, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Shore Health and Rehab Center in Parksley, VA. A native of Frostburg, MD, he was the son of the late James Rank and the late Elizabeth Marion Kalbaugh Rank. He was a retired teacher for Prince Georges County, Maryland Public Schools. Mr. Rank was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, former Church Treasurer, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the Coastal Conservation Association.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Kenneth J. Rank of Willis Wharf, and Robert K. Rank of Chesapeake Beach, MD; a sister, Judith R. Catron of Port St. Lucie, FL; and a grandson, Joe Rank of Norfolk, VA.

Due to the current situation with the COVID- 19 virus, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date at Maranatha Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Muender officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1423, Exmore, VA 23350.
