James C. "Jimmy" Payne

Mr. James Calvin "Jimmy" Payne, 58, of Capeville passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 at his residence. He was the son of the late Louis G. Payne and the late Bessie Parkerson Payne. He was retired from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and worked for the Virginia State Police as a dispatcher for many years. He is survived by two sons, Adam J. Payne and his wife Alicia of Keller, Va., Jason T. Payne of Capeville, Va.; a brother, John E. Payne and his wife Kathy of Eastville, Va.; two granddaughters, Tabitha and Avery Payne of Accomac, Va., and a third grandchild due in September. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 14, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Joe McKnight officiating.
