James Marshall

August 29, 1930 — May 9, 2015

James Thomas Marshall, 84, a resident of Willis Wharf, VA, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Willis Wharf, he was the son of the late Navelle Thomas Marshall and the late Fairy Lucille Stevens Marshall. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired chef for Howard Johnsons Restaurant. He is survived by two special friends, Kevin Lee Wooters of Willis Wharf, Melvin Tingle of Salisbury, MD and an aunt, Joyce Core of Onley, VA. He was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel Lee Marshall and Edwin T. Marshall and two nephews, Bruce T. Marshall and Bryan T. Marshall. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Mikang Kim officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Barrier Island Center, P. O. Box 206, Machipongo, VA 23405.
