James Calvin "Jimmy" Franko, 50, of Oyster died Friday February 18, 2005 as a result of an accident at Bayshore Concrete. A native of Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Valentine S. Franko and the late Dorothy Hough Franko. Mr. Franko was a foreman at Bayshore Concrete Corp., and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Cheriton, where he was pursuing studies to become a minister. Survivors include his wife, Lisa VanNatter Franko, four children, Jimmy S. Franko and his wife Crystal of Cheriton; Matthew R. Franko, Hannah R. Franko and Shawn VanNatter, all of Cheriton. Two sisters; Linda F. Mitchell of Quinby, Va., Diane F. Mowry of Acme, Pa., three brothers; Edward Franko of Colorado; William Franko of Connellsville, Pa.; Tommy Franko of Accomac, Va.; three grandchildren; Kyle, Andrew, and Grace Franko, all of Cheriton. A funeral service will be held Monday Feb. 21, 2005 at 2pm in First Church of the Nazarene, 20290 Pat Town Rd. / Cheriton Cross Roads with the Rev. Joe Strock officiating. Interment will follow in the Cape Charles Cemetery. A viewing will be in church one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, P.O.
