James Tankard Doughty

Mr. James Tankard Doughty, 86, husband of the late Pauline Bradley Doughty and a resident of Keller passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Arcadia Nursing Center. A native of Pungoteague, he was the son of the late James G. Doughty and the late Mary Houston Doughty. He was the former owner of Doughty Ford and a member of Harborton United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sons, T. Bradley Doughty and his wife Gloria of Exmore, Va., Barry J. Doughty and his wife Diane of Onancock, Va.; two grandchildren, Ashley Pauline Daniele and her husband Aaron of Ft. Campbell, KY., Kevin J. Doughty and his wife Andrea of Exmore, Va.; a great grandson, Tanner B. Doughty of Exmore; and a sister, Mable D. Herrick of Seaford, De. He was predeceased by a son, Bryce T. Doughty and a sister, Thelma D. Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the graveside of Hollies Baptist Church Cemetery in Keller with the Pastor Joe McKnight officiating.
