Jacqueline Davis Hunter, 79, a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her residence. A native of Keller, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Davis and the great Grace Wimbrow Hart. She was retired from Hermitage on the Eastern Shore and a member of Onley Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters, Juanita East of Pocomoke City, MD, Bobbi Calabrese and her husband, George, of Fairfax, VA, Grace Hitchens of Delmar, DE, Jackie Hunter of Melfa, Hope Hunter of Onancock, VA; a brother, Billy Davis and his wife, Jean, of Onley, VA; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a daughter, Debbie Elliott. A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Chaplain Don McMillan officiating.
