J. Glen Atkinson Jr.

Mr. John Glen Atkinson Jr., 98, husband of the late Margaret Baker Atkinson and a resident of Painter, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at Shore Memorial Hospital. Mr. Atkinson was a retired farmer. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce A. Phillips of Painter, two grandsons, Hilton B. Phillips Jr. and his wife Maggie of Midlothian, VA, and Glen Kellam Phillips of Painter, a sister, Louise A. Bundick of Philadelphia, PA, three great grandchildren, Joy Zuchel, Brooks Phillips, both of Painter, and Shawn Phillips of New Jersey, and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at Belle Haven Cemetery Monday, April 6, 2009 at 2:30 pm with the Rev.Tammy Estep officiating.
