Irma Orange Bailey Floyd, 102, wife of the late Louis H. Floyd and the late Sumner P. Bailey and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at her home. Born in Norfolk, VA, February 28, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Charles Anderson Orange and the late Octavia Acree Orange. Mrs. Floyd was a retired school teacher for Northampton Public Schools and a member of Hungars Episcopal Church. She is survived by a son, Charles S. Bailey and his wife, Ann, of Richmond, VA, and two granddaughters, Letia O. Bailey and her husband, Dittmar Dittrich, of New Orleans and Kathryn A. Bailey of Richmond. Funeral services will be held graveside at Belle Haven Cemetery Monday, February 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Harry W. Crandall officiating. Family will join friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30 at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hungars Episcopal Church Memorial Garden Fund, P.O. Box 367, Eastville, VA 23347.
