Iris W. Guy Taylor

Iris Williamson Guy Taylor, 90, wife of the late James Henry Taylor and a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at her residence. A native of Campbell County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Alice Pentecost Williamson. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Exmore Baptist Church and the Mildred Stephenson Chapter # 117 Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include five nieces and nephews, Donald Blanton and his wife Beverly of Severn, MD, Darice Zeigler and her husband Tom of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Mary Alice Formo and her husband Lee of Monroe, VA, Stacy Williamson and his wife Ruth of Pamplin, VA, and Ingrid Johannsen of Arizona. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Onancock Cemetery. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service.
