Inez Turner King

Mrs. Inez Turner King, 94, wife of the late Clyde B. King and a resident of Exmore, passed away on July 6, 2006 at her residence. A native of Burgaw, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Willis Hampton Turner and the late Lucy Jane Brinson Turner. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jane Simpson and her husband Gene of Exmore, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Charles Burdette King. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 9th at 4:00 p.m. from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Mr. Kemmie Dize and Pastor Michael Muender officiating. Family will join friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place Tuesday, July 11th at the Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, N.C.
