Ilse Dilling McIlvee

Ilse McIlvee, 81, of Cherrystone Road, Cheriton, VA and formerly of Boyertown, PA, died December 15, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of Donald Lee McIlvee and they were married for 57 years. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Georg Dilling and the late Christine (Dumbeck) Dilling. Mrs. McIlvee was an inspector and packer for Boyertown Packing Company for twenty years. Other than her husband, she is survived by a son, Donald L. McIlvee Jr and his wife Glenda of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a daughter, Ursula M. Hess of Reading, PA; four sisters, Hilda, Anna, Annalise, and Elizabeth, all of Germany; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Farmington & Reynolds Avenues, Pottstown.
