Ida Chandler Sorensen

Ida Chandler Sorensen, 96, wife of the late Carl J. Sorensen and a resident of Exmore, VA passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at her residence. A native of Northampton County, VA, she was the daughter of the late William L. Chandler and the late Ella Wilkins Chandler. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. She is survived by a niece, Sallie L. Corra of Richmond, VA; a great niece, Linda Vanzant of Lorton, VA; seven nephews, Stanley Burnidge, David Burnidge, Harold Treadwell III, Charles Treadwell, Steven Treadwell, Robert Treadwell and Gary Treadwell. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Rodrigo C. Mingollo officiating. Graveside with interment will be Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD.
