Ida Robins

June 14, 1929 — January 5, 2025

Ida Mae Robins, 95, wife of the late Grant Robins, and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Curtis John Ward and Monolyah Farlow Ward, of Townsend, VA.

 Before settling in Cape Charles, in 1984, Ida and Grant lived in many states including VA, PA, NJ, CT, MD, IN, and HI. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she held various positions and served on many committees.

Ida is survived by three children, Debbie Robins Ritchie and her husband, Bob, of Hawaii, Jim Robins and his wife, Jinger, of Kennesaw, GA, and Steve Robins and his wife, Sue, of Guilford, CT; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cheriton United Methodist Church, with Rev. Shaun Smith officiating. Interment will be private at Cape Charles Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 326, Cape Charles, VA 23310.
