Hugo Joseph Clark
March 29, 1927 — October 6, 2015
Hugo Joseph Clark, 88, a resident of Cape Charles, VA passed away Tuesday, October 06, 2015 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Malverne, NY, with ties to Jamesport, NY and Cocoa Beach, FL, he was the son of the late Henry Clark and the late Emma Trenner Clark. He was a graduate of Long Island Agricultural and Technical Institute. He was a Master Gardener and retired owner of Malverne Nursery in New York.
He is survived by his loving companion, India Birch of Cape Charles; a son, Bruce Hugo Clark and his wife, Susan, and two grandchildren, Emalee Clark and Brian Clark, all of Jamesport. He was predeceased by a son, Douglas Mckenzie Clark, a daughter, Holly Clark and two wives, Lorraine Southhall Clark, the mother of his children, and Priscilla Paul Clark, his second wife.
A celebration of life service will be conducted Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Cape Charles Baptist Church with Reverend Russell Goodrich officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #56, Post Office Box 351, Cheriton, VA 23316.
