Howard Hudson Scott, Sr.

Mr. Howard Hudson Scott, Sr., 78, husband of Vivian Gladden Scott and a resident of Townsend, Virginia passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital Thursday, September 15, 2005. He was the son of the late Albert T. Scott and the late Eunice Hudson Scott. He was a retired farmer and a member of Lower Northampton Baptist Church. Other than his wife Mr. Scott is survived by a son, H.H. Scott, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Townsend, Va., a step-daughter, Diane Disharoon and her husband Keith of Cape Charles, Va., a step-son, Wayne Downing and his wife Cheryl of Cape Charles, two grandchildren, Sarah and Howard H. Scott III, three step-grandchildren, Crystal Handy, Kim Morales, and Heather Wiggins;four step-great grandchildren; three nephews, and one niece. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Lillian Post Scott, and two brothers, A.T. Scott, Jr. and John Page Scott. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 18, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. DeWayne Duncan officiating.
