Hillary G. Colonna

Hillary G. Colonna, 78, husband of the late Lucille Bell Colonna and a resident of Melfa, Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his residence. A native of Hadlock, Virginia, he was the son of the late Frank C. Colonna and the late Evelyn Johnson Colonna. He was a retired electrician for Accomack County Public Schools. He is survived by his three daughters, Ruthie Webb of Greenbush, Va., Betty Pruitt and her husband Wallace of Exmore, Va., Debbie Simes of Melfa, Va.; three grandchildren, John Simes of Lafollette, Tn., Laurie Landon of Melfa, Va., Richie Webb of Mechanicsville, Va.; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Joe McKnight and the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock.
