Hilda Simpson Tittermary

Hilda Simpson Tittermary, 95, wife of the late Preston R. Tittermary and a resident of Exmore, Virginia, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 at the home of her grandson, Kerry Tittermary. A native of Hog Island, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon Simpson and the late Lorraine Doughty Simpson. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She is survived by five grandsons, Glen S. Tittermary and his wife, Vickie, of Richmond, VA, Bryan K. Tittermary and his wife, Lori, of Belle Haven, Kerry J. Tittermary of Exmore, David T. Tittermary of Pocomoke City, MD, and Greg A. Whitley and his wife, Susan, of Pungoteague, VA, two granddaughters, Rebecca Tittermary of Salisbury, MD and Rachel T. Pritchett and her husband, John, of Easton, MD, three sisters, Mary S. Burgess, Kay Moore, both of Exmore, and Nancy Morris of York, PA. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert V. Tittermary and Richard P. Tittermary. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 1st at 1:00 PM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with Rev. Elizabeth Freund officiating.
