Herman Bailey Jr.

Mr. Herman Bailey Jr., 86, husband of the late Lillian Huether Bailey and a resident of Belle Haven, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Saxis, he was the son of the late Herman Bailey Sr. and the late Ella Linton Bailey. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Capt Bailey was a seafood dealer. He is survived by five brothers, Frank Bailey of Delmar, Md., Orville Bailey of Frankford, De., Tim Bailey of Baltimore, Md., Lodie Bailey of Saxis, Va., Jimmy Bailey of Exmore, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Bailey was predeceased by two brothers, Bill and Teagle Bailey. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Mike Muender officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery.
