Helen Batts Williams

Helen Batts Williams, 94, wife of the late Walter Grey Williams, and a resident of Belle Haven, Virginia passed away Friday, May 20, 2005 at the home of her nephew in Virginia Beach. She was the daughter of the late Charles Vanbatts and the late Neva Lassiter Vanbatts. Mrs. Williams was formerly of Washington, D.C. and a native of Zebulon, N.C. Mrs. Williams is survived by a sister, Hortense Poindexter of Smithfield, N.C.;a nephew, Evans Poindexter and his wife Heidi of Virginia Beach, Va., and two nieces, Rose Mitchell and Betty Underwood both of Smithfield, N.C. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jan Holloran. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O.
