Helen Elaine Houston, 89, a resident of Chincoteague, VA, formerly of Roselle, NJ, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Stanley S. Houston and the late Maude E. Kitchen Houston. She is survived by a son, Bruce A. Dowd of Chincoteague; numerous brothers and sisters; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Leonard James Dowd. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St. James Church Cemetery, 2106 St. James Church Road, Wilmington, DE.
