Helen Sheets Christian

Mrs. Helen Sheets Christian, 92 wife of the late Laurin S. Christian and a resident of Belle Haven passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Sheets and the late Nina Young Sheets. She was a member of Exmore Baptist Church, Women of the Moose Chapter #1349, where she served as Past Senior Regent and Past Recorder, and a former board member for the Association of Retarded Citizens. She is survived by a sister, Nina S. Winstead of Callao, Va.; five Nieces, Charleene S. Hill, Susan Christian, Julie Christian, Kathy Thomas, Peggy Davidson; four nephews, Charles Sheets, Donald Sheets, Julian Winstead, and Keith Pase. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 3, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Darrell Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30.
