Harvey Hirst Stewart

Harvey Hirst Stewart, 91, husband of the late Anna Langdon Stewart and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at his residence. A native of James Wharf, VA, he was the son of the late Edward V. Stewart and the late Edna Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a farmer, member of Eastern Shore Christian Business Association, Red Bank Men's Club, PTO Tractor Club, former member of Belle Haven Town Council, and former member of numerous agriculture boards. Mr. Stewart is survived by a daughter, Laurie S. Dryden and her husband, Richard, of Exmore; a sister, Mary Dare Engle of Cobbs Creek, VA; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Stewart and a sister, Attala Bagwell. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Tammy Estep officiating.
