Halsie Hubbard

Miss Halsie Bell Hubbard, 93, a resident of Cheriton, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Covington, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Elliott Hubbard and the late Dovie Helper Hubbard. She was a retired Dietician for a South Carolina Hospital and a member of Cheriton Baptist Church. She is survived by her Nieces, Sue M. Rasmussen and her husband Danny of Capeville, Va., Cheryl M. Downing and her husband Wayne of Cape Charles, Va., and numerous other nieces and nephews; a brother, Benny H. Hubbard and his wife Mary Sue of Covington, Va. Miss Hubbard was predeceased by a sister, Patsy H. Mapp and a brother, Lewis M. Hubbard. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Charles Peterson and the Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating. Family will join friends Saturday morning from 11 to 1 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Cheriton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 331, Cheriton, Va. 23316.
