Hallie Munford

Hallie Mae Munford, 76, wife of the late Fred W. Munford, Sr. and a resident of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at her residence. A native of Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Hope, Jr. and the late Alma Marie Tipton Hope. She was a retired Registered Nurse at Shore Memorial Hospital serving in the Psychiatric Ward for over 15 years and a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Fred W. Munford III of Belle Haven, Stacey Munford of Keller, VA, Megan Capehart of Mechanicsville, VA, and Thomas James Bonniwell of Belle Haven. She was predeceased by her son, Fred W. Munford, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Pungoteague Community Church with Reverend Bobby Carroll Huether officiating. Interment will be private in Johnson’s United Methodist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Food Bank of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 518, Onley, VA 23418.
