Grace D. Shockley

Grace Davis Shockley, 91, wife of the late Mayheau Shockley, Jr. and a resident of Willis Wharf passed away Friday May 20, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Manassas, Virginia. Mrs. Shockley a native of Belle Haven, was the daughter of the late Bertram Thomas Davis and the late Blanch Hudson Davis. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Shockley is survived by a daughter, Leslie S. Bennett and her husband Ed of Manassas, Virginia; a sister, Birdie Twyford of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two grandsons, Jonathan Bennett and Christopher Bennett, both of Dale City, Virginia; a great granddaughter, Cassandra Odom of Warrenton, Virginia. Funeral serices will be conducted Tuesday May 24, 2005 at 3:00 pm from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth T. Armstrong officiating.
