Gloria M. Taylor

Gloria M. Taylor, 91, a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Herzog and the late Frances Turner Herzog. She was a retired switchboard operator for the Philadelphia Bulletin, a United States Navy Veteran and a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Eastville, VA. She is survived by three children, Barbara Coady of Machipongo, Andrew Taylor of Hatfield, PA, Steven Taylor of Wichita, KS and two sisters, Frances Ernst and Mary Young, both of Philadelphia. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 16304 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia with Father Rick Willis officiating. Interment will be Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, Feasterville, Pennsylvania. Memorials may be made to Project Linus, P.O.
