Gerald William Kilmon

Gerald William Kilmon, 66, husband of Martha Miles Kilmon and a resident of Onley, Virginia, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late George L. Kilmon Jr. and the late Kathryn Frye Kilmon. He was a retired Fuels Tax Fraud Investigator for the Division of Motor Vehicles, a member of Market Street United Methodist Church, Founder and "HDIC" of the Apple Dumpling Gang, Eastern Division.
Other than his wife, he is survived by two sons, Justin Miles Kilmon of New Canton, Va., David Lawrence Kilmon and his wife Kathryn of Cohasset, Va.; a sister, Vonda Kilmon Doughty of Melfa, Va.; a favorite uncle, Elton Browne; several nieces and nephews, devoted class members, scooter buddies, and his four-legged friends, Fred and Billy.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Chapman and the Rev. Mike Harrington officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
