George David Richardson

Mr. George David Richardson, 65, of Cheriton, passed away July 22, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Oyster, he was the son of the late David Thomas and Irene Wilgus Richardson. He was a mechanic and had retired from the Eastern Shore Railroad and Cherrystone Aqua Farms. His greatest joy was going to Antique Auto Shows, building, and driving his "Candy Apple Green" 1979 Malibu. Mr. Richardson is survived by two sons, Troy David Richardson and his wife Sandy of Nassawadox, Va., Glen Rogers Richardson and his wife Tammy of Eastville, Va.; a daughter, Michelle Richardson Hickman of Eastville; a brother, Harold C. Richardson of Seaview, Va.; a sister, Lillie R. Clark and her husband Ray of Capeville, Va.; five granddaughters, three grandsons; two great-granddaughters, two great-grandsons; a companion, Kathy Sparrow of Cheriton, Va., and many family and friends that loved "Uncle George". Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25th at 2:00 PM from the Full Gospel Church in Bayview with the Rev. Randy E. Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Capeville Masonic Cemetery.
