George Ferebee, Sr.

George Ferebee, Sr., 83, husband of Geraldine P. Ferebee and a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015, at his residence. A native of Currituck, NC, he was the son of the late George Ferebee and the late Ella Curls Ferebee. He was a retired carpenter and farmer and a member of Exmore Baptist Church. He is survived by five children, Bonita Kay Bell of Salem, NJ, Cynthia Susanne Swartz of Somers Point, NJ, Judy Darleen Hopkins of Exmore, VA, Diana Carol Ferebee and her husband, Raouf Ghaly, of Dumont, NJ, and George Ferebee, Jr. of Melfa; one sister, Nora Horton of Camden, NC; eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the Exmore Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating.
