Gene Paige Shelton, Jr.

Gene Paige Shelton Jr., 19, a resident of Painter, died Friday, July 2, 2004 in Keller. Mr. Shelton was the son of Gene Paige Shelton Sr. and Kathy Huffman Shelton. He was employed at Bayshore Concrete and was a member of Exmore Baptist Church. A funeral service was held at Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore on Monday, July 5 at 11 A.M. The Rev. Darrell Webb officiated. Interment was in Belle Haven Cemetery, Belle Haven. Other than his parents he is survived by a sister, Tina Lynn Shelton of Painter; three half-sisters, Beverly Jean Wilkerson of Florida, Jenny Wilkerson of Florida and Lori Ann Shelton of Seaford, Del.; maternal grandparents, Katie and William Huffman of Bloxom; paternal grandparents, Harry Lee Shelton and Virginia Lee Taylor of Onancock; and numerous aunts and uncles. Memorials may be made to the Gene Paige Shelton Jr. Fund, 15121 Fooks Lane, Painter, 23420. Arrangements made by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
