Gary Hilton Kelley, Jr.

Gary Hilton Kelley, Jr., 43, a resident of Franktown, VA, formerly of Exmore, VA, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Exmore, he was the son of Terry Colonna Kelley of Exmore and the late Gary Hilton Kelley, Sr. He was a service technician for Bundick Well and Pump, member of the E.S. Riders, cornhole player, and a coach and avid softball player of Team No Choice.
In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by three children, Darian M. Kelley, Kristen R. Kelley, Gary H. Kelley III, all of Franktown, and their mothers, Sherry Brady Kelley and Terry Phan Magruder; his girlfriend, Vicki Read Colona and her children and granddaughter, Kayla M. Charnock, Bradley E. Colona, Audrey B. Hinmon, all of Franktown; his sister, Ann Marie Kelley-Moore and her husband, Larry, of Goldsboro, NC; maternal grandmother, Marian Sturgis Colonna of Onley, VA; paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Ward of Exmore; a niece, Kelley Ballas; two nephews, Richard Riddle II, Hunter Smith and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Roy Clark Colonna and paternal grandfather, Elmer "Toad" Ward.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Chuck Parks officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gary H. Kelley III Education Fund, c/o PNC Bank, PO Box 623, Onley, VA 23418.
