Mr. Gary Bernard Kellam, 58, husband of Marsha Ross Kellam and a resident of Exmore, Virginia lost his courageous battle with cancer Saturday morning, June 24, 2006 at his summer residence at Silver Beach. A native of Wachapreague, he was the son of the late H. D. "Jack" Kellam and the late Sarah Steele Kellam. He was a retired insurance agent for Home Beneficial Insurance Company and worked at Waterford Printing Company in Exmore. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Korea and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Other than his wife, Mr. Kellam is survived by two children, Heather Kellam Savage and her husband Chris of Cheriton, Va., Gary B. "Gar" Kellam, II and his wife Crystal of Jamesville, Va.; a sister, Diane Kellam Mapp and her husband Frank of Belle Haven, Va.; and a grandson, Carson Christopher Savage. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 26, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Tammy Estep officiating.
