Frederick T. Salenski Jr.

Frederick Theodore Salenski Jr., 76, husband of the late Joan M. Salenski and a resident of Cheriton, VA passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of New York, he was the son of the late Frederick T. and Helen Zawacki Salenski. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He is survived by five children, Annette Dwyer and her husband Dennis of Camillus, NY, Randy Salenski and his wife Joann of Kodiak, AK, David Salenski and his wife Janet of Astoria, OR, Mark Salenski and his wife Terry of Cape Charles, VA, and Marie Rock and her husband Ronald of Cape Charles; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Portwood. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating.
