Frankie Dize Drummond

Frankie Dize Drummond, 82, wife of Vernon A. Drummond and a resident of Pennyville Road, Painter, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 02, 2010 at her residence. Born on Tangier Island and reared at Harborton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Thomas Dize and Lucy Parks Dize. Mrs. Dummond was a member of Exmore Baptist Church and past Senior Regent of the Women of the Moose. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Mary Doughty of Willis Wharf, Rita Higbee and her husband Ira of Painter, Annette Hall and her husband Ronnie of Capeville, VA, and Ames Drummond and his wife Shannon of Craddockville, VA; a sister, Judy Taylor and her husband Bob of Cashville, VA; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Exmore Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter and Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating.
