Frank Wise Bell

Frank Wise Bell, 82, husband of Helen Gardner Bell and a resident of Birdsnest passed away Saturday May 7, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Birdsnest, he was the son of the late Bailey A. Bell and the late Mattie Wise Bell. He was a long time active member of Red Bank Baptist Church in Marionville. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a P.O.W. in Germany and was a graduate of Virginia Tech class of 1944. Other than his wife, Mr. Bell is survived by two sons, Frank W. Bell, Jr. of Wilmington, Delaware and William A. Bell of Dover, Delaware, a sister, Margaret B. Taylor of Onancock, Virginia and five grandchildren, Hilary Rivers and her husband Jason of Monroe Ga., Gina Bell of Birmingham, Ala., Sgt. Donald John Bell and his wife Sandra of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Frank W. Bell, III of Wilmington, Delaware and William Clifford Bell of Dover, Delaware. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Red Bank Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. William Nieporte officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
