Frances Middleton Bender

Mrs. Frances Middleton Bender, 82, wife of the late Arthur "Pete" Bender, Jr., and a resident of Cape Charles, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Parksley, she was the daughter of the late James A. Middleton and the late Blanche Barnes Middleton. She was a retired nurse anesthetist for Shore Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and Northampton Chapter #2 Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, Don M. Bender and his wife Deborah, a granddaughter, Pamela R. Gorman, and a great grandson, Julian K. Gorman all of Cape Charles, Va. She was predeceased by a son, Harry James Bender. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June18th at 2:00 PM from the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles with the Rev. Russell Goodrich officiating.
