Frances Helen Parker Atkinson

Frances Helen Parker Atkinson, 69, wife of Nat H. Atkinson and a resident of Wachapreague passed away Monday November 20, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. She was the daughter of the late Jake Parker and the late Dollie Nobles Parker Taylor. She was retired Postal Clerk and a member of the Ocean View United Methodist Church. Other than her husband, she is survived by four sons; Nat H. Atkinson, Jr. and his wife Susie of Wachapreague, VA, J.P. Atkinson and his wife Paula of Belle Haven, VA, Karl Lee Atkinson and his wife Vicky of Onancock, VA and Gary Atkinson and his wife Martha of Keller, VA., a brother, Sam Parker and his wife Susie of Wachapreague, a sister, Teenie Taylor and her husband Wayne also of Wachapreague, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery Wednesday November 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Sallye E.H. Bowen officiating.
