Forrest Sherman Stiles, Jr., better known as Junnie, 71, husband of Barbara Oakley Stiles and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Sentara Princess Anne General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. A native of Cape Charles, he was the son of the late Forrest Sherman Stiles, Sr. and the late Betty Grace Bowen Stiles. He was a retired Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Police Officer, waterman and member of Exmore Baptist Church.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Mark Giannone and his wife, Jennifer, of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Christina Stiles of Cape Charles; three brothers, Phillip Stiles and his wife, Carolyn, of Eastville, VA, Richard Stiles of Cape Charles, Kenneth Stiles of Cape Charles; a sister, Betty Jean Moore of O'Fallon, MO and six grandchildren, Julia Giannone of Virginia Beach, Allyson Giannone of Virginia Beach, Vincent Giannone of Virginia Beach, Tyler Giannone of Richmond, VA, Aaron Bowers of Delmar, DE and Nathaniel Bowers of Delaware.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Exmore Baptist Church with Reverends Jonathan Carpenter and Randy Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Cape Charles Cemetery. Family will join friends at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, 119 Pine Street, Cape Charles Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Shore Christian Academy, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
