Florence B. Garypie

Mrs. Florence B. Garypie, 88, of Melfa, formerly of Sag Harbor, New York, passed away at her daughter's residence Monday, January 8, 2007. She was the wife of the late Leo Alexander Hesler and the late Eugene Garypie. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lauer and the late Theresa Keane Lauer. She is survived by five children, Florence Bowen of Melfa, Va., Barbara Frederico of Sag Harbor, N.Y., Leo Hesler of Coram, N.Y., Raymond Hesler of Colorado Springs, Co., Arthur Hesler of Melfa, Va.; and a sister, Marion Desmond Leone of New York; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 12th at 12:00 noon from the Doughty Funeral Home with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Interment will take place in Sag Harbor, N.Y.
