Florence Marie Armentrout

Florence Marie Armentrout, 65, wife of Ronnie Lee Armentrout and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, Va. A native of Willis Wharf, VA, she is the daughter of J.Milton "Red" Fitchett, Jr. and Norma Justis Fitchett of Willis Wharf. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and attended Colonial Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter, Karen Armentrout Barnes of Exmore; a sister, Norma Bew of Salisbury, MD; three grandchildren, Brandalyn Green of Willis Wharf, Merranda Barnes of Norfolk, VA, Ronald Barnes, Jr. of Willis Wharf; four great grandchildren, Braleigh Green, Vaden Green, Noah Cooley and Kinsley Barnes. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard W. "Ricky" Fitchett. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Jack D. Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Red Bank Church Cemetery. Family will join friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
