Fanny Kellam Winslow

February 15, 1942 — August 17, 2005

Mrs. Fanny Kellam Winslow, 63, wife of William Thomas Winslow, Sr. and a resident of Norfolk, passed away at her residence Wednesday, August 17, 2005. A native of Belle Haven, Virginia she was the daughter of the late John Walter Kellam, Sr. and the late Fanny Voyles Kellam.

Other than her husband, Mrs. Winslow is survived by three children, Esther W. Horner of Norfolk, Va., William Thomas Winslow, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va., and Amanda Marie Winslow of Norfolk, Va.; four grandchildren, Jaclyn Horner, Kandace Horner, William Thomas Winslow III, Chase Jones, Jr.; a sister, Carolyn Jean White of Fairview, Va.; Several nieces and nephews; and numerous children that she took in her care through the years. She was predeceased by five brothers, John Walter Kellam, Jr., William Thomas Kellam, Sr., Lucius Francis Kellam, George Lee Kellam and Roy Wayne Kellam.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 21, 2005 at 3:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Bill Charnock officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30.
