F. M. Boggs

Floyd Mapp Boggs, better known as "Jack", 95, husband of the late Mary Turner Boggs and a resident of the Hermitage, formerly of Exmore, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Melfa, he was the son of the late George Upshur Boggs and the late Mary Susan Bull Boggs. Mr. Boggs was a retired farmer and a member of Belle Haven United Methodist Church. He is survived by, Susan B. McCoy of Seaford, De., Jacqueline B. Kappes and her husband Jerry of Bethany Beach, De., Charles P. Ames, Sr. and his wife Jean of Exmore, Va.; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a great grandson, Ryan Scott Kappes. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Belle Haven United Methodist Church with the Rev. Douglas Tanner and the Rev. Joe McKnight officiating.
