Evelyn Killmon Colonna

Evelyn Killmon Colonna, 95, wife of the late Donovan R. Colonna and a resident of Jamesville, VA, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Heritage Hall Healthcare. A native of Harborton, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mack Hickman Killmon. She was a secretary, retiring from Wilson Trucking Company. Mrs. Colonna was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, the UMW, and the choir. Mrs. Colonna is survived by three grandsons, Jeffrey Johnson of El Paso, Texas, Chris Johnson and his wife Robbie of Vidalia, Georgia, and Donnie Johnson of Temperanceville, Virginia; two great grandchildren, Matt and Meagan Johnson of Vidalia. She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Colonna Johnson, and a son, Joe Gale Colonna. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2010, at 3:00 PM at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Judith Worthington officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Doughty Funeral Home.
