Eugene A. Reynolds

Mr. Eugene A. Reynolds, 93, husband of the late Dorothy Bell Reynolds and a resident of Oyster, Va., passed away Thursday, Sept 6, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Chincoteague, Virginia, he was the son of the late Risdon Reynolds and the late Abigail Jester Reynolds. He was a member of Travis Chapel United Methodist Church.He served in the United States Army. He is survived by a daughter, Wendy R. Harclerode of Cheriton, Va.; two sons, Stetson Kent Reynolds of Oyster, Va., Darrell G. Reynolds of Franklin, N.C., a sister, Faye Doughty of Eastville, Va.; a brother, Floyd Reynolds of Oyster, Va., ten grandchildren, Tammy and Mark Somers of Eastville, Jason Somers of Cedar Grove, Va., Ozzy Reynolds of Newport News, Va., Sheldon Reynolds, of Raleigh, N.C., Scott Reynolds of Cornelius, N.C., Troy Reynolds of Greensburg, Pa., Bubba Frisby of Cape Charles, Va., Kimberly Early of Eastville, Beverly Van Natter of Norfolk, Va.; 13 Great Grandchildrern. He was predeceased by six brothers and sisters, Harve Reynolds, Dick Reynolds, Buck Reynolds, Kathleen Crumb, Elizabeth McCready, and Edith Doughty. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 9th at 2:00 PM from the Travis Chapel United Methodist in Oyster with the Rev. Nathan Decker officiating. Interment will follow in the Cape Charles Cemetery with Military Honors. Family will join friends at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30.
